Kellie Martin, an American TV and film actress most well-known for her performances in the roles of Christy Huddleston in the 'period drama''Christy Christy', Rebecca Thatcher in the Family drama 'Life Goes on' and Lucy Knight in the medical drama series 'ER'. Also, Kellie is well-known as the main character on The Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin was the daughter of a department shop buyer and a kindergarten instructor. Her first acting experience was at seven years old when her Aunt, who was a nanny in Michael Landon's family, offered to help Martin to be an actor on the 1982 television series Father Murphy. Following her graduation from Yale University, she took acting more seriously, and eventually landed important roles on the small screen and the big screen. Martin has also been a photographer and a dancer. Two-time mother, she is the national spokesperson for Lupus and has been informing people about the illness following the death of her sister of it in just 19.
